A new RAAM world record: Colin and Lucas sped across the USA on their bikes completing the effort in 6 hours, 6 days and 43 minutes besting the previous record by approximately 5 hours. It was an incredible showing up endurance, backed by the right equipment and supported by a truly remarkable team - amasterpiece on what a team can do with a shared vision and clear roles, all striving toward the same outcome.

The History
In 1982 Race Across America (“RAAM”) was launched as the Great American Cycling Race. It is an ultra-distance road bike race that covers 3,000+ miles across the United States. It's known to be the most demanding and grueling endurance race in the world. The cycling race can be completed solo, in pairs or by a team of riders.
The Stakes
Crossing the USA on a bike is not for the faint of heart and especially not at world record pace. The team endured extreme temperatures across the Southwest, mountain climbs and altitude in the Mountain West, brutal crosswinds across the Midwest and grueling hills to finish on the East coast.
The Journey
Colin teamed up with his childhood best friend, Lucas Clarke, to attempt to break the pairs two-man RAAM speed record. They aimed to best the previous record of 6 days,
The Team
The duo cycled around the clock 24/7, swapping shifts roughly every 90 minutes. The rideres were supported by an extraordinary team including 13 support crew from across the globe. All on a shared mission, they came together like none other.
